Why did you choose this Website Design?

1. Because the combination of mostly black, some red and gray and slightly white goes well with my taste.
2. Because I do not want my eyes to be illuminated by the predominantly bright themed websites out there which could damage my eyes. (Precisely for this reason, many developers use dark themed IDEs.)
3. Because I wanted to create a simple website that offers many features, yet doesn't require a lot of bandwidth. Mainly because of my extremely low bandwidth (Upload: approximately about 0,6 MBit/s)


What internet connection do you have?

I have a 6k internet connection from 1and1 Germany. There are only 6 MBit/s due to that my home is placed in a very bad spot. So technically a maximum bandwith up to 6-7 MBit/s for downstream and 0.6-0.8 MBit/s for upstream is possible.


Do you also rent/lease servers or virtual environments?

Generally no. The hardware of my server is just about right for my needs. In addition to the services that I mentioned in the My Servers tab, there are also of course other, private services running, all of which claim the server a bit. Thus, he is not overloaded but busy. Not to mention my low upload bandwidth. To buy a second server, which is mainly for others, I cannot financially carry and be responsible for. It is also quite a bit, not only financially, in the preservation of such a server, which makes sense only in mass production and above all full-time dedication. Both of which are out of the question for me.
